The visit of a delegation of North Korean agricultural technicians to the Russian Federation began on February 9, the Korean Central Telegraph Agency (KCNA) said in a statement.

According to the report, the North Korean agricultural delegation is headed by the President of the DPRK Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Kim Gwan Wook.

In September last year, the head of Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako announced negotiations with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and noted the high level of contacts with North Korean neighbors, as well as prospects for cooperation in agriculture, construction, tourism and other areas.

Earlier it was reported that on Friday the first group of tourists flew from Vladivostok airport to the capital of North Korea, Pyongyang. Almost 100 people upon arrival will go to the Masikryong ski resort. As the government of Primorsky Territory reported, the program for tourists is intense. First, in Pyongyang, they will explore the main attractions. Afterwards, a visit to the Maskiryong ski resort is planned. Among the passengers there are residents of Irkutsk, Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk, Moscow and other cities, among tourists and professional athletes.
