Nizhny Novgorod said goodbye to Prilepin’s colleague Shubin, who died in a car explosion

Farewell to the colleague of the writer Zakhar Prilepin, an employee of the Russian Guard battalion “Oplot” Alexander Shubin, who died as a result of the terrorist attack, took place in Nizhny Novgorod.
The ceremony was attended by about 100 people, among whom were people with whom Alexander Shubin served at various times since 2014. After the farewell ceremony, the coffin with the body will be sent for burial to the zone of the special military operation. The exact place of burial is not called.
On May 6, a car containing Zakhar Prilepin and Alexander Shubin was blown up in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The writer was injured, was urgently taken to the hospital and operated on. Alexander Shubin died on the spot. He was posthumously presented with the Order of Courage and a departmental award of the Russian Guard.
