Ninth-graders and college students started testing according to the PISA model

Every three years, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development assesses 15-year-old students in schools and colleges for their literacy, in particular, math, reading, science and computer. It is called PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment).
This year, Russia does not participate in international testing, but the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science decided to still assess the quality of education using the PISA model. It starts today and will last until October 28. Testing will take place without the participation of the OECD, based on Russian developments and technologies that were obtained during such assessments.
It is expected that about 50,000 students from more than 1,500 schools and 80 colleges in Russia will take part in the study. The work will be done entirely in computer form.
