Actor Dmitry Nagiev, the father of an adult son Kirill and, according to rumors, already a grandfather, this year celebrated his 55th birthday. True, despite the bright date, he did not hold grand secular parties on this occasion. In general, he practically does not go out into the world – this is not his lot. But when Nagiyev comes out with some project, of course, it’s impossible to hide here – the public demands a body. And sometimes he listens to her.

The next appearance of Dmitry at a closed screening of a new film with his participation caused a stir among the few viewers who were lucky enough to get to the premiere. Nagiyev paced with his trademark brutal gait, without changing his image of recent years: a hat, jeans, a leather jacket. Journalists could not miss such a phenomenon of Nagiyev to the people. Communication was short-lived, but emotional. Dmitry, who recently admitted that he had left the channel where he had worked for many years, answered half in jest, half seriously. At the same time, he made it clear that in every joke there is a share of a joke. We started a conversation before showing the film “To the touch”, as usual, with serious topics. Nagiyev spoke about lies.

“I try not to. Moreover, in any, even “fun” life situations in which we have been plunged, I try not to lie. No longer necessary. When I was much younger, it seemed to me that I had no choice. But this is all a lie: there is always a way out. Now I try not to lie, to be more honest. It is true that sometimes you lie to yourself. For example, drinking cola at work is not considered – I didn’t eat a hamburger at home. This is how I deceive myself. Or when they give me a discount in a store – instead of 60 thousand I pay 57, this is also self-deception, which I sometimes go for and, unfortunately, with pleasure.

– Which roles are more difficult for you: comedic or dramatic?

There is nothing more difficult than comedic roles. I say this as a person who filmed 350 episodes of Ensign Zadov and starred in a bunch of comedies, 90 percent of which are crap. But there are 10 percent of cute things. Of course, there are projects that are physically difficult, like filming a movie that we came to see. Firstly, I am an elderly person, and secondly, the shooting was basically difficult. You look: what a rocky bottom, what a river with crucians! And then it turns out that you need to dive. And I still don’t see a damn thing: my head is spinning, I’m constantly sick, this wolf is screaming with saliva … This unsanitary conditions have finished me off. In general, the work is not mine. When shooting – at least leave the profession, by golly. I love this sun, the sea on tour, and when the performance is like a butt on the head: the performance is the same swimming trunks to change!

Is money an incentive?

– There are jobs that are motivated by money, well paid, but there are also those for which you motivate yourself with vanity. Why play blind, for example? Perhaps dad will say: “Darling, it was good.” Because after one of the last pictures it was like this: “Darling, I went and looked – to be honest: well, shit.” Well, I’m not upset.

– How do you feel about criticism?

– I have a bad attitude to criticism, I hate it, I don’t perceive it.

– Dmitry, admit it, how is it that you don’t look at your 55 at all?

– It’s a secret. And you will look younger and more beautiful than me (smiles). There are no miracles for it to be somehow highlighted here … – the artist said, lifting his T-shirt and showing the place where the cubes on the stomach should “light up”. – I ate yesterday at two o’clock in the afternoon, and at night I dreamed of sex, during which I eat cookies. Do you understand how you can bring yourself? Sugar, apparently, fell on me. And I got up at night and looked for this sugar. But I am not disposed to fullness.

– Are you already preparing for the celebration of the New Year?

– I beg you, when there is such joy around, let’s not talk about the New Year. Would live!

– Well, do you prepare gifts for grandchildren? You admitted that you have a grandson or granddaughter…
