Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko said on Wednesday during a government hour in the State Duma that the shortage of personnel in the system for doctors is about 25-26 thousand, for nurses – about 50 thousand people.
“This is not a critical deficit, but it is important,” the minister assessed the situation.
According to him, most often the shortage of personnel is noted in primary health care and rural medicine.
And in cities in hospitals, as a rule, there is no shortage.
