Most Russians are not able to pay for higher education for their children

Only 20% of Russians with children are able to pay for their child’s education at a university, while 65% of families do not have accumulated funds to cover the costs of higher education for their children. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a study by Anderida Financial Group.
Experts noted that over the year the number of parents able to pay for a child’s education has significantly decreased – a year ago, 25% of respondents declared the possibility of giving their children a higher education. About 60% of the survey participants stated about the lack of funds.
At the moment, as follows from the survey, 15% of Russian parents hope that their children will enter the budget and will study for free.
