Sadovnichy instructed to take additional anti-terrorism measures at Moscow State University

Moscow State University Rector Viktor Sadovnichy instructed to take additional measures to ensure the security and anti-terrorism protection of the university. Thus, they will strengthen the checkpoints for entering university buildings with additional security.

The rector also ordered to check the functionality of panic buttons and metal detector frames. Entrances to educational buildings will be checked for serviceability of anti-vandal devices, the condition of engineering and technical communication channels will be monitored, etc.

In dormitories, the guest regime is canceled for everyone (except immediate relatives). In this case, the passage will be carried out through the frames of the metal detector.

Events dedicated to vigilance and safety issues will be held with all students and staff of the country’s leading university.
