Ministry of Justice of Russia March 29 contributed to the list of foreign agents of St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly deputy Boris Vishnevsky, lawyer Vadim Prokhorov and the “First Department” project. The organization “Academy for Human Rights” was excluded from the list.

According to the Ministry of Justice, the basis for inclusion in the register Boris Vishnevsky was his participation as a respondent on information platforms provided by foreign media and foreign agents. The deputy opposed the special operation in Ukraine, the department points out, participated in the creation of messages and materials of foreign agents, and disseminated “inaccurate information about the decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and the policies pursued by them.”

Vadim Prokhorovfollows from the explanations of the Ministry of Justice, “disseminated false information about the decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and the policies pursued by them,” participated in the creation of materials of foreign agents, and is also the director of a foundation recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation.
