Moscow manufacturer of fire protection products increased production volume by 2.2 times

The capital’s enterprise, specializing in the production of fire protection devices, increased production volumes 2.2 times over the past year. The Ecolight company creates arc flash protection devices (AFDP). They reduce the risk of the most common cause of fire, namely fire due to faulty electrical wiring.
“Thanks to the support of the city, capital enterprises are actively increasing their production. Thus, the Moscow company Ecolight produced 35 thousand devices in 2023 – this is 118% more than in 2022. This year, the company plans to increase production volumes to 150 thousand devices,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.
By the way, from the beginning of spring of this year, the installation of an AFDC will become mandatory in the electrical installations of kindergartens, schools, dormitories and other public spaces.
According to the general director of production, Fyodor Nemtsov, at the moment, the use of AFDCs in electrical installations of facilities is recognized by experts as an effective measure to prevent fires. The accumulated experience of using such devices in our country served as the basis for changes in regulatory documentation, which gives the manufacturer the opportunity to build company development plans for the coming years.
