Moscow announces yellow weather alert due to sleet

The hydrometeorological center has announced a yellow level of weather danger in Moscow, the Moscow region and several other regions of the Central Federal District. They are expected to be icy. For the capital, the warning is valid until 21:00 February 21. In the Belgorod region, strong winds are predicted, gusts will reach 17 m/s.
The yellow level of weather danger has been declared in almost the entire territory of Western Russia, as well as in almost all regions along the northern border of the country. The orange level is valid in the Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, Chechnya, Kabardino-Balkaria, North Ossetia, Ingushetia and Stavropol Territory. Black ice, strong wind, avalanche situation in the mountains and heavy rainfall are expected in the regions.
