The Russian Armed Forces must receive the necessary military equipment every day, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin believes. He called on members of the government to ensure “daily replenishment of weapons” for the military to carry out the tasks of the special operation in Ukraine.
“All the material and technical means missing from last year’s plans should be sent to the troops no later than February and in full,” Mikhail Mishustin added during a meeting of the coordinating council under the government (quoted by TASS).
The Prime Minister believes that now it is important to increase the capacity of enterprises of the military-industrial complex in a “continuous mode”.
Today, January 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg visits the Obukhov plant, which manufactures S-400 air defense systems. During the conversation with the workers of the plant, he declaredthat the authorities are thinking of introducing a deferment from military service for employees of the military-industrial corps, since the defense industry is loaded and factories work “in three shifts.”
