Millions turned into pumpkins: how a top partner of a network business company NL International lost income

The reason for the severance of business relations was the banal ignoring of warnings from the company about the need for activity

The NL company, known for its products for health, beauty and slimness, terminated the contract with one of its top partners, Roman Volkov. According to the businessman, who is considered a millionaire in the world of network business, this behavior of the network giant was unexpected and illegal, which neither company representatives nor independent lawyers agree with. In an attempt to regain their “home place,” the former partner tries in every possible way to “inject” his yesterday’s companions. “MK” understood the situation.

A young and ambitious 23-year-old Roman registered with NL in 2015. An acquaintance advised Roman to start a network business and, indeed, in this field his income increased sharply. According to the Novosibirsk online publication NGS, already in the first month the talent received 36 thousand rubles in profit, in the second – 65, and in the fourth – 299 thousand rubles. Further income was already in the millions.

And now, it would seem, the dream of any person who starts his career in a network business has come true – the man has an income that fully provides for all his needs for a good life. He even went to develop spiritual practices in Tibet.

The fairy tale lasted for several years, until one fine day, the carriage began to rapidly turn into a pumpkin. Last December, NL terminated its contract with Roman. The notice of termination stated that he had failed to comply with the terms of the contract. At the same time, it was proposed to contact the company to discuss options for further cooperation.

“If a partner does not comply with the contractual terms for a long time and systematically: does not promote the company’s products, does not identify himself with the company, does not participate in the life and events of the company, does not maintain contact with the structure – the company has not only ethical questions for the partner, but also legal, and financial under a service agreement,” the NL International press service reported.

Having ignored the offer to contact and waiting until he was deleted, Roman began actively recording video messages online. Insisting that NL should return him to the status of a partner, he launched an enviable activity in publishing information unpleasant for the company. Apparently, to make NL more accommodating, Roman’s subscribers were bombarded with a ton of toxic information. About how ugly the company’s leaders are behaving because they no longer want to communicate with him. That the company has double standards. That Roman had been misled all these years. And even that someone sends Roman complaints that the company’s products have become worse.

It would seem that the person is offended by the company, but paradoxically, simultaneously with the “revelations,” Volkov filed a lawsuit with the Arbitration Court of the city of Novosibirsk, in which he demands the return of the contract with the company. And also, to NL’s surprise, he demands additional payments from the company (allegedly NL owes him 84 million rubles).

“We can conclude that Roman’s arguments have little prospects in court. Because we are dealing with the unconditional right of a party to terminate an agreement between business entities. As for payments, if the party has already admitted in the acts that there are no claims, then appeals to underpayments by the court are usually ignored, – independent lawyer Vladimir Fokin commented on the situation in his Telegram channel.

According to NL, most of the company’s partners are surprised by Roman Volkov’s not entirely adequate behavior in the current situation. And contrary to Roman’s predictions that the conflict with him would hit the company, statistics indicate the opposite. According to NL, the company’s turnover is only growing (+38.3% in February). And most importantly, there is an active influx of new partners: in January, the number of partner registrations was 15,732 more than usual. It seems that the hype raised by Volkov and the correct response behavior of the company only benefited it – they attracted the attention and sympathy of new networkers who come to NL to build their own network dream.
