Russian Consul General in Phuket Vladimir Sosnov said that the provincial immigration authorities decided to transport the musicians of the Bi-2 group (one of the frontmen, Yegor Bortnik, is included in the list of foreign agents by the Russian Ministry of Justice) to Bangkok for further deportation to Russia.
Seven members of the team were detained after a concert in one of the nightclubs in Thailand due to lack of the necessary work permits.
The musicians were fined $95 each.
