The first information about the striker’s transfer to Traktor appeared during TANECO Cup in Kazan, which, we recall, Chelyabinsk won. The general manager of the “black and white” Alexey Volkov noted that Marushev can play both in the central position and from the flank. The hockey player, according to Volkov, fully fits the game concept of Traktor.
“Marushev is a skillful and motivated forward with good dimensions. I am sure that he will strengthen Traktor. We agreed with Ak Bars on a one-year lease with the option to buy the rights at the end of the season. I express my gratitude to Marat Valiullin for constructive negotiations,” Alexey Volkov commented.
The second newcomer of the Chelyabinsk was the defender Ilya Nikolaev. The hockey player is from Chelyabinsk, but he is a graduate of the Magnitogorsk hockey school. He played in the Steel Foxes, VHL clubs. Ilya also played a number of matches in the KHL as part of Metallurg.
