7 Kurgan students will take part in the International Festival in Yekaterinburg

Seven students of the Shadrinsk State Pedagogical University will take part in the International University Sports Festival, which will be held in Yekaterinburg from 19 to 31 August. They will take part in sambo wrestling competitions.
In addition, 18 residents of the Kurgan region became festival volunteers. A total of 3,500 volunteers from all over the country were selected.
Athletes from 36 countries of the world will take part in the competition: Guatemala, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Mexico, Turkey, Ecuador, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Pakistan, Cuba, Iraq, Vietnam, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, China and other.
MK-Ural previously reported that Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Yevgeny Kuyvashev and First Deputy Minister of Sports of Russia Azat Kadyrov in Yekaterinburg in early August, we checked the readiness of the city’s sports facilities for the International University Sports Festival. They visited the grounds where the competitions will take place and the sports village.
Evgeny Kuyvashev noted that a system of operation of operating organizations was built. Their task is to ensure the rhythmic operation of all communications and engineering systems. The issues of arrival and departure of festival participants, their accommodation, transportation, food, organization of a cultural program, etc. have been resolved.
