Kharlamov, as noted, lost control of the log lift, fell and dropped a log weighing 110 kg on his stomach. As a result, the weightlifter received a massive rupture of the small intestine, blood loss reached 80%, said Alexei Medvedev, head of the Perm Power Sports Federation Bogatyrskaya Rus. Thanks to the professional actions of doctors, Boris remained alive and has already been removed from the ventilator, he noted, emphasizing that “the worst is over.”
