Matytsin called youth the key to Russia’s successful development

How successfully Russia will develop depends on youth. This opinion was expressed on Friday, December 1, by the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin.
The head of the Ministry of Sports spoke before the “Stars of University Sports” forum. He said that a significant part of his life is connected with Russian student sports.
Matytsin emphasized that Russian universities are “definitely the best in the world” in terms of the level of physical training of their students. At the same time, the minister noted that “today this is more important than ever; how successfully our country will develop depends on young people.”
Earlier, Head of State Vladimir Putin said that strengthening the family and saving the people of Russia — the priority of the Russian authorities for generations to come. He noted that the authorities’ decision to declare 2024 the Year of the Family in Russia is based on the opinion and desire of the majority of society.
During the World Youth Festival in Sochi in March, young people from all over the world will be able to get to know Russia “as it is,” Putin emphasized. Russia will be recognized with all its riches, the main of which are its talented and motivated residentscapable of solving any problem for the benefit of their country.
