Love has four paws: Shatskaya, Yarmolnik and others were photographed with their pets

The Gallery of Classical Photography brought together not only those wishing to look at the “stars” with their pets, but also famous personalities themselves. So, among the visitors were the presenter Mikhail Dovzhenko, Sergey Badyuk with his wife, Mikhail Gorevoy and others.

The “stars” did not dare to bring the animals themselves, although Gorevoy assured “MK” that his fighting pet Cane Corso named Bob is very kind. But the athlete and actor Badyuk, despite all his brutality, presented in the photograph a charming pug that was completely different from him, whom he called Casimir. “There are no problems with him, he is very accommodating, but he knows how to manipulate, and he also snores at night,” a martial arts specialist said about the pet.

Of course, we could not help but ask Mikhail Stenin himself why he needed all this at all in our difficult time.

– You see, here animals appear as full members of the family, as intermediaries between man and nature. We opened the exhibition on the Day of Love, February 14, and for us it was the day of unconditional love, because animals love us unconditionally, just like we love them.

There are many well-known names among the participants of the photo shoot. What shoot do you remember the most?

“Each shoot was amazing. For example, Anna Ardova was practically a holiday, not a photo shoot. Children came to her with their dogs, and she has sphinx cats. The exhibition ended up with sphinxes. But we are thinking of making an exhibition 2.0. – continue in a year and show there what was not included.

How did the rest of the participants behave?

– Each star pet has its own unique character. For the actress Yulia Kuvarzina, for example, everything went smoothly: we just put her chihuahua on her magnificent bust. Gorevoy’s dogs ran around the site, I collected them.

Merzlikin has a Labropoodle dog named Richard. Andrey then dictated to me the caption for the photo, that, despite his cute appearance, the name Richard fully reflects his heart and real masculine character. Such Richard the Lionheart in the guise of a cute creature.

Denis Matrosov generally has a Maine Coon cat, who did not like to be filmed, so there were few shots with him. But Denis added zest. He decided that it was boring to shoot with a cat just like that, so he decorated himself: he made a la cat makeup and took the cat in his arms.

Alexei Serebryakov took part in the filming, at whose house we filmed. This is a very interesting person who endlessly cares about animals. He had a shelter in the courtyard of the house, he treated 30 dogs with a difficult fate there, nursed them. He knows everything about veterinary medicine, he even makes injections.

By the way, Leonid Yarmolnik and his daughter Alexandra have been dealing with the fate of animals for many years. The two of them have done a lot to lobby for the right animal protection laws. Leonid was constantly running around with these problems.

– And which of the stars had the most docile animals, admit it?

– Yes, they are all like that, I can’t even say that one of the star animals annoyed me. There were dogs that I would even call shy.

I really liked working with Nina Shatskaya, and she has a huge Sennenhund dog, but at the same time such a kind, modest bumpkin. As Nina said, he did not show his whole self, smiled a little, although, in my opinion, on the contrary, he was good. And at the end of the exhibition, he threw himself on my shoulders, and he is huge, he licked me all over in gratitude for the photo shoot. This photo with a dog, by the way, became a poster for Nina’s new concert.

Another kindest dog belongs to Sergei Tsigal. Dunya is an Irish wolfhound. I have never seen such a smart dog in my life. I call her “good dragon”…

The photograph of the singer Nina Shatskaya was very popular at the exhibition. The audience discussed not only the “cuteness” of a large and incredibly cute pet, but also the beauty of the hostess herself. “MK” asked Nina herself how this shooting went.

– When I found out that my friends were taking pictures for this project, I also had a desire to shoot with Shtil. This is a very touching story, I saw how wonderful the work turns out, what a wonderful photographer Mikhail is, he sees the relationship between the owners and their pets. So I didn’t even think about it when I was offered to take part.

– Did Shtil like acting?

– Calm does not like photo shoots, in this he is very different from his mistress. When we came to be photographed, he pretended to be sad, sleepy and lazy for a long time, although in real life he is playful and very charming. Calm is fond of new people, never afraid of new meetings.

– Visitors to the exhibition also discussed your chic dress on a perfect figure. What outfit did you choose to shoot?

– When I was thinking about what this photo shoot should be like, I took a few outfits. At first there was a black and white suit of the same color as the color of Calm, but the photographer settled on this evening, rather strict dress. It seemed to me that it would also contrast with the good nature of Shtil, and I was not mistaken. By the way, I specially sewed the dress for one of my first concerts. It was a long time ago, and I’m happy that it still fits me.

– Always wanted to know how you got such a wonderful pet?

– I have never had dogs, I have always loved cats, they have accompanied me all my life since early childhood.

Now my cat Marik lives with us – a black curly handsome man. I think that there will also be a separate photo session with him.

When the pandemic had just begun, we lived outside the city as a big family, and my husband said that since childhood he had dreamed of such a dog – a mountain dog. I never knew that there is such a breed – the Swiss Shepherd. At first I was sure that my husband was joking. But his eldest daughter found a kennel on the Internet, where she ordered a dog.

At that time, the puppy was still very small, it was too early to take him. And so, when Shtil was two months old and I saw him for the first time, he stole my heart. I took him in my arms and realized that this is my dog. Then I took on all the duties of caring, feeding. He played with adult dogs in our country house, grew up trouble-free. He loves animals, very trusting and philanthropic. He also loves compliments.

– Seriously?

Yes, he likes to be told that he is handsome. He already understands these words. When we go out for a walk in the park, everyone already knows Shtil there, they greet him, the children run to him. He is like such a circus horse: he walks, prancing.

Last year he became the champion of the Sennenhund breed at his age. When we brought him to the first exhibition, everyone was very surprised by his social activity and friendliness. Because the Mountain Dogs, of course, are distinguished by a certain friendliness, but Calm is just walking love. He is ready to lick any person who allows him to do so.

He is also very smart, but he likes to pretend to be stupid so that they don’t ask him a lot. There are no problems with him, he is obedient, likes to go to beauty salons, and also likes to eat from someone else’s dog bowl.

With his complexion, he is not recommended to overeat, so you always need to make sure that he does not steal food from his fellows. In general, if someone wants to get a big dog, I recommend Sennenhunds to everyone: there are no more kind, smiling, affectionate dogs. By the way, this year our Shtilik became a father for the first time, he had six children: two girls and four boys. They are all beautiful, good-natured and smart – just like our dog.
