A loud scandal erupted in the Kemerovo region after the appearance on the Web of a photograph showing that a sausage shop is located in the clinic of Prokopyevsk. The Ministry of Health of Kuzbass reacted to the hype: “The situation is unacceptable.” And they closed the market. However, meat products did not appear in the clinic yesterday. According to local residents, they started trading in the medical facility more than 15 years ago.

The opinions of the townspeople about the presence of a retail outlet in the clinic were divided. Some want everything back the way it was.

After the publication of the scandalous picture of a clinic with a butcher’s shop, a discussion began in the city public of Prokopyevsk. The townspeople wrote that, in addition to the sausage row, there is also a hairdresser’s in the building of the medical facility.

From the Ministry of Health of Kuzbass, we were given an official answer: “An unscheduled inspection was organized. Part of the premises occupied by the retail facility is provided on the basis of a lease agreement that expires at the end of January this year. As for the hairdressing salon, it has a separate entrance area and is not located directly in the medical care area. In the near future, unscheduled inspections will be held in all medical organizations.

– And the butcher’s shop has already been closed, – the Ministry of Health reported. “So you don’t have to come back to this topic anymore.

Not all locals are happy with this turn of events. Some believe that it was convenient for visitors to the polyclinic to receive treatment and to buy.

– What are you attached to our clinic? Where do you see the butcher shop? They only sold sausage there, – a resident of Prokopyevsk is indignant. – And the hairdressing salon is located in that wing of the clinic, where there are no doctors’ offices. It didn’t bother anyone.

Another man agreed with the previous commenter: “The butcher shop has been there for many years. People liked it, the sausage was actively bought up – a convenient location and an excellent assortment. Yes, and it’s clean there: the products are in refrigerators, there is no question of any infection with viruses or bacteria from patients, as they say now.”

Very comfortably. All this is located far from the entrance to the red zone. The barbershop didn’t bother anyone either.”

– The clinic has long practiced leasing the area of ​​the first floor, – says one of the visitors to the medical institution. – At one time they sold bakery products, pastries, dairy products, vegetables and fruits. Recently, a butcher’s shop has appeared. This not normal. The clinic looks like an eatery, not a medical facility. We are against such a mess.

But the workers, most likely, approved. Perhaps the clinic was making money by renting out space. The children’s polyclinic on Zholtovsky also had retail outlets. I don’t know if anything has changed

“I don’t remember a polyclinic without a butcher’s shop,” the young man says. – People there often buy semi-finished products, employees of the polyclinic are served without a queue, as evidenced by the corresponding inscription above the counter. It is strange that for so many years everyone was silent.

Another interlocutor admitted that she last visited state medical institutions in 2008 and then they were already trading with might and main: “I remember in those years the bread shop was located directly in front of the doctors’ schedule, to the right of the entrance. There were always enough buyers. But without the approval of the City Health Department, this could not happen. I think they will remove the sausage for a while, and then they will start selling something else.”
