The Commissioner for Children’s Rights under the President of the Russian Federation, Maria Lvova-Belova, took control of the situation that happened with a group of children from the LPR on the Tyumen-Adler train. The Ombudsman spoke about this on Thursday, December 21.
As Lvova-Belova wrote on her Telegram channel, there are no serious children among the hospitalized children, nothing threatens their lives. Some children showed symptoms of ARVI, some of them were confirmed to have influenza A.
Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin requested a report about what happened on a train traveling from Tyumen to Adler, after the death of a young passenger – a 12-year-old girl. As Rospotrebnadzor specialists found out, the children traveling on this train fell ill with influenza A.
Therapist, general practitioner from St. Petersburg Elena Kudryashova warned that this type of infection is now quite common, and not in all cities it is easily diagnosed, but This variant of influenza is highly contagious.
