“For public display of sexual and cultural promiscuity”
State Duma deputy Nina Ostanina demands criminal liability for violating morality at the “naked party” of actress and blogger Anastasia Ivleeva, which took place in Moscow.
Last night at the capital’s Mutabor club there was a meeting of stars: Philip Kirkorov, Dima Bilan, Dzhigan, Lolita and Ksenia Sobchak. Ticket prices for the open part of the event reached a million rubles, and the party organizers designated the dress code as almost naked. One of the undressed guests spotted in the company of Dima Bilan came to the party wearing only one sock, which covered his manhood.
Already in the morning, videos and photos from the event went viral on social networks, and social activists began writing statements to all authorities. To assess the actions of bohemia during this “feast during the plague,” Nina Ostanina sent parliamentary requests to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, in which she asked that the participants and organizers of the event be held accountable, “regardless of their name and status.”
“The so-called “bohemians” insulted with their actions the fighters who, at the cost of their lives, defend the well-being of the country’s civilian population,” the deputy writes in an appeal to the Prosecutor General of Russia.
Among other things, Ostanina asks Krasnov “to supplement the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation with norms providing for liability for demonstrating disregard for established norms of public morality and traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, approved by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of November 9, 2022 No. 809, as well as for public demonstration of sexual and cultural promiscuity.” .
“Any discussion of this vile event in the public space is offensive,” Nina Ostanina, head of the State Duma Committee on Family Protection, Issues of Paternity, Maternity and Childhood, tells MK. “They are insulting to the guys who are fighting in the Northern Military District zone. They are offensive to their family members: mothers, wives, children. They are offensive to their friends, classmates, in other words, to the entire society, which today is watching with alarm what is happening in the special operation zone, which has mobilized and is waiting for victory on all fronts, including on the cultural front, where we all need victory over those who imagine themselves to be the elite of society.
Discussing this “elite” is simply insulting those guys,” Ostanina notes. – Legal action is needed here. That is why I turned to Prosecutor General Krasnov so that he would support my proposals to amend the legislation – both the administrative and criminal codes of the Russian Federation. We have a law on insulting the feelings of believers, we have a law on insulting officials. We do not have a law against insulting established moral standards that are characteristic and traditional for our society. It is clear that there is a Presidential Decree, but actions that go against this decree are literally not punishable in our country. I believe that there should be criminal liability for insulting the moral feelings of Russians.
