Liksutov: activation of remote replenishment of Troika works for 800 thousand passengers

Moscow city transport continues testing the activation of remote replenishment of Troika transport cards. This operation can be done at metro turnstiles. The service is currently available to 800 thousand passengers, and more and more transport cards are gradually being connected to it. Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Transport Infrastructure Development, spoke about this.

“The ability to activate the balance of a transport card at the turnstile will make our ticket system even more convenient and will reduce travel time,” the official noted. – In the future, this opportunity will be available to all passengers. We continue to develop convenient transport services on behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.”

Activation of the Troika balance after a remote (online) top-up occurs when passing through the turnstile, and the message “Recharge recorded” will appear on the screen. This replaces the activation of top-up via yellow terminals. As the developers note, the procedure does not slow down passage through the turnstile.

Let us remind you that online replenishment remains one of the fastest and most convenient options for increasing the balance on the Troika card. To do this, you need to use the Moscow Metro application, which is available in all common application stores for mobile platforms. In this case, replenishment of the balance must be activated.
