Journalist Evgeny Kiselev* included in the list of extremists and terrorists

Rosfinmonitoring included journalist Evgeny Kiselev (declared a foreign agent) into scroll persons and organizations in relation to whom there is information about their involvement in extremist activities or terrorism. In July 2022, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation announced he is wanted under an article of the Criminal Code.

Evgeny Kiselev (declared a foreign agent) worked as an NTV presenter in the 1990s, and in 2000–2001 he was the general director of the channel. In 2009, the journalist moved to Ukraine. Until 2016, he worked on the Inter TV channel, and then hosted his own program on Ukraine 24. In 2022, he retired from television.

Ministry of Justice contributed Evgeniy Kiseleva to the register of foreign agents in April 2022. He spoke out against the Russian special operation in Ukraine, as well as the annexation of Crimea to the Russian Federation in 2014.
