Kursk governor supported Kadyrov’s call to send thousands of volunteers to Ukraine

Governor of the Kursk Region Roman Starovoit said he supported call head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov on the independent training and dispatch of thousands of volunteers to the military special operation zone in Ukraine.

“In total, more than 800 volunteers were sent from the Kursk region to various military units participating in the special operation, including our Seim logistics battalion,” Starovoit said in a Telegram message.

According to the governor, all fighters are trained in special centers before being sent. They are provided with “everything they need, namely equipment, uniforms, means of protection and communications,” Starovoit added.

“Volunteers are also being recruited for the mobilization human reserve, which is designed to protect the borders of the Kursk region, liquidate emergencies and natural disasters. Recruits will undergo appropriate training and will also receive the necessary equipment,” said the head of the region.

The appeal of Ramzan Kadyrov was supported earlier by the head Crimea Sergey Aksenov and head Mari El Republic Yuri Zaitsev.
