Kravtsov told Putin about the integration of education in new regions

President Vladimir Putin met with the head of the Ministry of Education Sergei Kravtsov. The minister said that maximum integration of new regions into the educational space of the country should be carried out within two years.

Mr. Kravtsov said that the department, in particular, is working with high school students, “because the Kiev regime has actually distorted the consciousness of children.” He did not specify what this work entails. Also, in each school, the position of an adviser to the director of education was introduced, and primary school students were provided with hot meals.

“New regions are included in the national Education project and will participate in the federal project for the overhaul of schools. We plan to carry out maximum integration into the Russian education system within two years,” said the head of the Ministry of Education, quoted by press service Kremlin.

Since the new school year, all Russian schools have begun to use a history textbook for high school with chapters about the military operation in Ukraine. Ministry of Education and Science created working group to write the history of the military operation. Vladimir Putin assertsthat a new history textbook was needed because there were more than 60 different textbooks, including those with “historical distortions.”
