“If you are from Buryatia, then you can personally come to the shelter and choose a friend. For families and volunteers from other regions, we can arrange delivery. We select the dogs, select a suitable flight and send them off. In other cities, we do not release dogs onto the streets, but hand them over to families or to the care of local volunteers or shelters.”

According to animal rights activists, dogs tolerate the road well; they usually travel in mail and luggage cars: it is warm, and sometimes even hot. “The handlers feed them, look after them, and clean their cages. “Everything is absolutely legal,” people continue their story. “You can also become a remote guardian of a dog, pay for its maintenance in the shelter (approximately 1,500 rubles per month) from anywhere in the world, and then it will definitely not be euthanized.”
