Anastasia Sorokina, an athlete from Krasnodar, successfully performed at the second stage of the Friendship Games international competition, which ended in Kazan. Within the framework of this tournament, the Russian Championship was also held.
In total, more than 1000 athletes from 22 countries participated in the competition. 24 people competed for the Krasnodar Territory. The tournament was held in a 25-meter pool.
Anastasia Sorokina showed the third time in the 400m individual medley. As part of the Friendship Games tournament, this brought her a bronze medal, and a silver medal in the standings of the Russian championship. 18-year-old Sorokina showed a time of 4 minutes 42.76 seconds. An athlete from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Anya Chrevar (4:36.48) and Anna Chernysheva from the Moscow Region (4:36.71), were ahead of her. At a distance of 200 meters in the complex swimming, Sorokina took 7th place.
