Kostroma gymnasts will go to the All-Russian Spartakiad in summer sports in Kazan

The press service of the city administration of Kostroma, citing the regional sports committee, reports that six pupils of the Kostroma sports school No. 1 of the city are preparing to go to Kazan for the All-Russian Spartakiad in summer sports.
Competitions in the capital of Tatarstan will be held from September 24 to October 2 and are expected to bring together more than 15 thousand athletes from all over Russia who will compete in 40 sports.
Kostroma at the Spartakiad will be represented by a team of six gymnasts – five boys and one girl: Ivan Tsvetkov, Andrei Khomenko, Roman Buchkin, Igor Arefiev, Daniil Tataru and Alexandra Smirnova.
All team members already have sports regalia – four Kostroma residents have fulfilled the standards of masters of sports and two are candidates for master of sports. Let’s cheer for our gymnasts and the gymnast!
