Kostroma athlete returned from the Russian Taekwondo Championship with a bronze medal

The Regional Committee for Physical Education and Sports reports on the successful performance of Kostroma athlete Maria Shagabutdinovya at the Russian Taekwondo Championship among juniors and juniors, which ended recently in the city of Odintsovo near Moscow. More than 500 sportsmen and women under the age of 21 from 55 regions of Russia took part in the competition. Our region was represented at them by a student of coaches Roman Pashin and Anna Volkova.

Kostroma resident Maria Shagabutdinova had three fights at the tournament, in one of which she even defeated a multiple medalist at the Russian and European championships. As a result, Maria returned to her native Kostroma with a bronze medal.
