Kazakhstan to introduce four-day work week in July
From July 1, the Labor Code of Kazakhstan will have a norm according to which the employer will be able to set a four-day work week for employees.
It is assumed that the four-day work week will not be universal, and each employer will be able to introduce it at their discretion.
Sunday will be the only day off, and the second or third non-working day will be established by the collective agreement.
The law, with appropriate amendments, was signed by the President of the country, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
