The Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg submitted to the State Duma a bill on the inclusion of “advertising of sexual services” among the administrative crimes. The authors propose to fine violators up to 500 thousand rubles, follows from document in the Duma electronic database.
According to the draft, advertising can be considered the placement and distribution in public places of an offer of acquaintances and recreation, including those containing a “hidden offer of sexual services”, indicating contacts. According to the authors, such ads are placed on elements of the city’s infrastructure, which “damages property and distorts the appearance of the city.”
“Increased administrative fines in this case are an effective preventive measure that reduces the number of offenses in the field of distribution of advertising of sexual services, minimizing the consequences of damage to property, since the activity of distributing advertising of sexual services becomes economically inexpedient for advertising distributors,” the explanatory note says.
It is assumed that the fine will be from 20 thousand to 50 thousand rubles. for individuals, from 50 thousand to 100 thousand rubles – for officials, from 100 thousand to 500 thousand rubles – for legal entities.
