Kaspersky Lab is beginning a phased shutdown of the Kaspersky Secure Connection (KSC) VPN application on the Russian market. The paid version of KSC will be on sale until the end of December.
“The free version of Kaspersky Secure Connection will be available until November 15, 2022. After this period, it will no longer be possible to use a free product in Russia, ”— informs Kaspersky Lab. The shutdown will take place in stages, the company noted, and changes in the work of KSC will not affect countries other than Russia.
If a home user has Kaspersky Total Security installed and a KSC subscription is paid for, the VPN application will work until the subscription expires. If you don’t have a paid subscription or license, the app will stop working on November 15th.
