Kaluga athlete Maria Kameneva became the national champion for the third time. At the Russian Swimming Championships, which takes place in St. Petersburg, Maria Kameneva, a student of the Olympic reserve sports school “Olympus” from the city of Obninsk, won the 50-meter backstroke and won a gold medal.
This is already the third gold for Maria at these competitions.
Earlier in 2023, Maria became the Russian champion in the 100-meter backstroke and 100-meter freestyle.
The Kaluga region swimmers’ team also boasts silver and bronze medals. The final swims will take place today.
