Jennifer Aniston reveals she struggled to conceive and did IVF

In a new interview, Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston called “really hard shit” the period of her life when she tried to get pregnant and did IVF.

In an interview with Allure, The Morning Show actress and producer opened up about her current position in Hollywood, starting a hair care line, and trying to get pregnant in her 30s and 40s. It was something Aniston admitted “no one” knew about.

“I tried to get pregnant. It was a difficult path for me, the path of having a child,” she explained, “All the years and years and years of media speculation. … It was really hard.”

The star revealed that she has “not a single regret” about her efforts and even felt “a little relieved” because there is nothing more to speculate about or ask questions about her attempts to conceive. This is what I call “I don’t have to think about it anymore.”

“I went through IVF, drank Chinese teas, whatever. I threw myself at it all. I would give anything if someone told me: “Freeze your eggs.” Do yourself a favor. You just don’t think so,” Aniston said. “So, I’m here today. The ship has sailed.”

Aniston added that the emotional hardships associated with her efforts to conceive were exacerbated by headlines that implied that her personal family-building schedule was “simply selfish.” She assured that “an absolute lie.”

“I just cared about my career. And God forbid that a woman succeeds and does not give birth to a child. And the reason why my husband left me, why we broke up and broke up our marriage, was because I did not give him a child, she said, It was an absolute lie. For now, I have nothing to hide.”

“I would say that in my 30s and 40s, I went through some really hard shit, and if it wasn’t for that, I would never have become who I was supposed to be,” she said. “That’s why I’m so grateful for all this shitty stuff. Otherwise, I would be stuck as this person who was so scared, so nervous, so insecure about who he was,” the actress pointed out.
