ITF disqualifies Russians Mikhailyuk and Mishina for anti-doping rule violations
The International Tennis Federation has disqualified Russians Ivan Mikhailyuk and Daria Mishina for violating anti-doping rules. This is reported by TASS with reference to the documents of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency.
Mikhailyuk, 24, was suspended in January 2022. He will be suspended for four years for refusing to take a doping test - until January 13, 2026.
Mishina, 29, was suspended until October 16, 2024. Her doping test showed a high level of testosterone. According to the tennis player, this was the result of meningitis.
