The right-wing Brothers of Italy party demanded that an episode of Peppa Pig be banned because of an LGBT couple. It is reported by The Guardian.
The party’s spokesman for culture, Federico Mollicone, called for the episode, in which a homosexual couple first appeared, not to be shown.
The politician believes that the broadcast of the episode with same-sex relationships is “unacceptable” for Italy.
“Once again, political correctness has hit at the expense of our children,” Mollicone said indignantly. “Can’t kids just be kids?”
The Brothers of Italy oppose the upbringing of children by LGBT couples and same-sex marriages.

In the new episode of the animated series, Peppa Pig has a friend, a polar bear named Penny. She draws a portrait of her family and says that her parents are lesbians.
