The site acquaints residents and guests of the capital with the history of the region, the assistance provided to it by Russia, and joint plans to restore the Donetsk (DPR) and Lugansk (LPR) people’s republics.
Visitors will be able to see the models of the monument to the Russian and Soviet composer and pianist, a native of Donbass Sergey Prokofiev, the Donbass Arena fountain, the Saur-Mogila monument and the memorial in Makeevka, agricultural and mining equipment.
On the site there are stands with works by the Mariupol artist Arkhip Kuindzhi and a photo exhibition “Moscow-Donbass”.
Sports competitions, matches and master classes will be held at the event, which will be held by athletes invited from Donbass. Artists who regularly come to the region will perform.
In total, about 200 concerts, sports competitions, festivals and other events have been prepared for the residents and guests of Moscow on the occasion of the 875th anniversary of the Russian capital. Parks, museums, libraries and cultural centers will present their programs. Over 420 events in total.
At 21:00 on September 10, festive fireworks will take place at 23 venues. More than 30 thousand volleys will be made.
