Italian visa centers from November 15 will no longer accept Russian passports without biometric data. This is reported VMS-Italy. Thus, from Tuesday, only biometric passports for a period of 10 years will be accepted for consideration.
“Non-biometric passports of citizens of the Russian Federation are no longer accepted!” – says the site.
The rest of the requirements remain the same. So, you need a passport valid for at least three months after the expiration date of the requested visa. It must contain at least two blank pages (spread) and must be issued no more than ten years ago.
If a person who wants to get to Italy has two valid passports, then both must be provided when submitting documents. These are originals and copies of pages with personal data and marks, stamps and visas.
Earlier in November Indonesia decided to simplify the issuance of visas to residents of Russia from November 9th. We are talking about the launch of an electronic visa on arrival (e-VOA) system, which will be available to Russians, as well as representatives of another 25 countries. It is noted that e-VOA will work at the airports of Bali and Jakarta. The system will be valid for 30 days with the possibility of extension for the same period. Tourists will be able to use the right to enter only after 90 days.
