It became known about the death of Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Vontov at the age of 74. The Komissarzhevskaya Theater, where the actor worked for more than 40 years, announced this on its page on the social network.
Vontov played in the film “Zoya” about the feat of Joseph Stalin’s Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya. This is one of his last films. During his years of service in the theater, the actor played more than 80 roles.
The artist also took part in the detective series “Secrets of the Investigation.” In the 16th season he played General Oleg Kapitonov. Vontov has roles in such films and TV series as “Salyut-7”, “It All Started in Harbin”, “Road Patrol”.
The date and place of farewell to the actor has not yet been announced. The cause of death has not been announced.
