IPCC: All hacker attacks on the DEG system have been successfully repelled

Chairman of the Moscow City Election Commission Olga Kirillova reported attempts to disrupt voting in the DEG through DDoS attacks on operators. However, the attacks were successfully defeated: SMS messages are received as usual. The head of the IPCC made this statement while visiting the Public Headquarters for monitoring the capital’s elections.
She emphasized that at the moment all systems are operating normally.
“As of today, the Moscow City Election Commission has not officially received any information from the precinct commissions that something is not working,” concluded Olga Kirillova.
Elections for the post of mayor of the capital will be held in Moscow from September 8 to 10. 5 candidates took part in them: the current mayor of the city Sergei Sobyanin (United Russia), Vice-Speaker of the State Duma Boris Chernyshov (LDPR), State Duma deputy Dmitry Gusev (A Just Russia – For Truth), Moscow City Duma deputy Leonid Zyuganov (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) , Deputy Prime Minister Vladislav Davankov (“New People”).
