Yaroslavl football club will not be able to play the match at the home stadium “Shinnik”. This was reported by the management of the club. The reason is the non-compliance of the football field with the standards of a safe sports ground.
“Shinnik Football Club” informs that on March 7, 2023, the FNL commission for assessing the quality of football fields for holding matches of the Football Championship, on the basis of an act of instrumental assessment of the football field, temporarily suspended the holding of competition matches at the Shinnik stadium due to the inconsistency of the football fields to the criterion of the RFU Standard “grass”” – according to the official release of the club.
A similar situation occurred at Shinnik in the spring of 2020, when the club was unable to start the season on its field due to the fact that the lawn had become bald over the winter and did not grow. Then the management of the Shinnik sports complex was given to Yuri Bratchenko, who was able to put the lawn in order in a year. Either by sowing grass, or by cutting, covering for the winter and drying before the games of the season. The lawn was even flashed with special equipment to keep it in wet weather. But six months ago, the club broke up with Bratchenko. And the spring story with the lawn was sadly repeated.
At the moment, the club is sending out letters to rent a reserve field from one of the “neighbors”. March 12 “Shinnik” should meet with “Yenisei”
