On May 30, in the capital of the republic, Andrey Tarasenko, Chairman of the Government of the Republic, inspected the Cholbon swimming pool, the Tuymaada stadium, as well as the Elley Bootur ice palace, which are planned to be renovated for the upcoming Children of Asia International Sports Games.
The Elley Bootur Ice Palace is waiting for a major overhaul of the roof, boiler room and heat generators.
At the Tuymaada stadium, boiler rooms will be repaired, the football field will be laid with artificial turf, a running track will be purchased and installed, seats will be replaced, and water disposal, electricity supply, heating, etc. will be carried out.
In general, the International Sports Games “Children of Asia” in 24 sports will be held in 16 venues in the city of Yakutsk. In addition to the above facilities, it is planned to repair the Elley Bootur ice palace, the Triumph sports training center, the 50 Years of Victory sports palace, the Cholbon swimming pool, the Modun sports complex, the Tuymaada stadium, the Dokhsun sports complex, as well as the swimming pool “Samorodok”.
