More than 300 athletes took part in the international athletics tournament
Zaraysk hosted international athletics competitions dedicated to the memory of Anatoly Zimin, Honored Master of Sports of the USSR. More than 300 athletes came to the competition. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the region.
The competition was attended by young athletes aged 14-15 from different regions of Russia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Participants competed at distances of 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500 and 3000 meters.
At a distance of 100 meters, Anastasia Pshenichnaya from Kolomna won, and Pavel Glazkov became the best among young men. Vasilisa Lysova from Mytishchi won the 400 metro race. Angelina Gromova from Kolomna won the 1500 meters race, Uliana Doroshchenko from Chekhov won the second place. Gold in this discipline was won by Viktor Yulyunov from Lukhovitsy. At a distance of 3000 meters Anastasia Pichugina from Chekhov won.
Races were also held at the competitions among veterans of athletics and guests of the competitions. All athletes were awarded certificates, medals and souvenirs.
