For the period of partial mobilization on the territory of the Trans-Baikal Territory, a ban is introduced on the sale of alcoholic beverages in settlements where military units are located. It will be impossible to buy alcoholic beverages on the territory of the urban district of ZATO, Gorny, the urban settlement of Borzinskoye, on the territory of the village of Peschanki, as well as on the territory of municipalities of the Trans-Baikal Territory within a radius of 300 m from the military commissariats.
A restriction on the sale of alcohol was also introduced in several districts of Buryatia: in the villages of Ivolginsk, Kabansk and in the entire Tapbagatai district. According to the decision of the administration, until the end of September, it is allowed to sell alcohol only during the day from 11:00 to 18:00.
September 21 Russian President Vladimir Putin announced partial mobilization. Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported that mobilization would affect about 1% of Russia’s total mobilization resource, and 300,000 reservists would be sent to the combat zone.
