The acting governor of the Ryazan region, Pavel Malkov, announced the evacuation of the village of Golovanovo, Klepikovskiy district, due to the proximity of fires. Earlier, residents of the village of Olgino in the same area were evacuated.
“We confirm that there is a high danger for the village of Olgino, from where the residents were evacuated. There is also a rather high danger for the settlement of Golovanovo. A decision was made to evacuate the inhabitants from there, ”said Pavel Malkov in Telegram channel.
According to the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, the area of active natural fires in the region is about 160 hectares, in total, the fire has passed about 8.6 thousand hectares. At the moment, in three districts of the Ryazan region, an emergency mode has been introduced due to fires: Ryazansky, Spassky and Klepikovsky. On August 17, the smoke and smog from the fires reached the central regions of Moscow. On August 18, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, flew to the region to supervise fire fighting.
