The focus of anthrax was identified in the Paninsky district of the Voronezh region. A state of emergency has been introduced on the territory of the district until November 16 inclusive.
The state of emergency was introduced by decree of the governor, the district administration said during “In contact with”. “At present, the regional structures, together with the administration, have taken measures to localize and disinfect the outbreak of an infectious disease, and the boundaries of the outbreak have been established,” the administration said in a statement.

The administration conducted a door-to-door detour of the settlement within the boundaries of the outbreak. The authorities promise that two sanitary and veterinary points will work from the morning of August 21. It is alleged that “an exhaustive set of preventive and epidemiological measures within the area of infection spread” has been carried out.
