The German automaker Audi, following Mercedes-Benz and BMW, has disconnected Russian dealers from software, according to Russian Telegram channels.
It is noted that the owners of cars of these brands are now unavailable for maintenance history and element updates.
Earlier, the Russians were warned about the consequences of disconnecting the machines of these brands from the software. According to auto expert Oleg Osipov, now many systems in cars are updated through the “cloud”. Therefore, now, in addition to the rise in the cost of the cars themselves and spare parts for them, drivers need to prepare for an increase in repair times and problems with updates.
At the same time, as noted, Russian “dodgy servicemen” have already learned how to access various closed services and bypass bans.
