On Saturday, June 3, the regional stage of the II All-Russian mass cycling race “World Cyclist Day” will take place near the Arctic Tourism Center. Registration of participants will begin at 10.00, the start of the first group of cyclists at 11.00. The competitions are held as part of the implementation of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”, according to the portal of state bodies of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
– Anyone can take part in the race. The youngest group, provided for by the arrival program, girls and boys born in 2014-2016. These participants are invited to cover a distance of 2000 meters. The longest distance involves a race at a distance of 6000 meters. Men and women of 2005 and older can participate in this group. Each participant will be given a T-shirt of the All-Russian mass cycling race, the organizers of the event said.
The organizers also remind that each participant of the competition must have a well-adjusted and fastened bicycle helmet, which must be on his head until the end of the race.
