In the Kurgan region, over 12 thousand people were evacuated from the flood zone

In the Kurgan region, due to flooding, 12,782 residents were evacuated, whose houses and plots fall into the flood zone. Most of them were temporarily accommodated with relatives, reports press service regional government.

As of 10 a.m. today, April 15, there are 825 people in temporary accommodation centers, including 156 children, as well as people with limited mobility and those in need of care in medical institutions. Evacuees are provided with hot meals, assistance from medical workers, law enforcement officers and a psychologist.
