Five new days off have been established in the Kherson region. The day of reunification with Russia – September 30 – will also become a non-working holiday. This was announced by the regional governor Vladimir Saldo in Telegram.

“By decree, I decided to declare non-working holidays in 2024 in the Kherson region: September 30 – the Day of Reunification of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Lugansk People’s Republic, Zaporozhye Region and Kherson Region with the Russian Federation,” wrote Vladimir Saldo.

The weekend will also be April 12 – Eid al-Adha, May 6 – Easter, June 17 – Kurban Bayram, June 24 – Trinity Day. If a non-working holiday coincides with a weekend, the day off is transferred to the next working day after the holiday.
